New Lucite Protective Covering in Cape Charles, VA
|
|
In August 2014, Laws Stained Glass Studios installed new protective covering at Cape Charles Presbyterian School in Cape Charles, VA. Laws began by removing the existing Lexan protective covering. The Lexan had protected the windows but it had turned yellow or milky white after a few years. Laws repainted the outside wood frame and made any necessary repairs to the wood. Laws installed new 1/4" Lucite as the protective covering. Lucite is an acrylic that stays clear and does not turn yellow or milky white.
