Stained Glass Windows at Orange Beach Presbyterian Church in Orange Beach, AL
In 2010, Laws Stained Glass Studios installed (10) leaded, hand-stained glass windows at Orange Beach Presbyterian Church in Orange Beach, AL The existing metal frame windows were removed by Laws' work crew, and new dark bronze aluminum frames were installed into the brick openings. Two of the windows had a red cross. Eight of the windows depicted a scene from the life of Christ: the Nativity, the Boy in the Temple, the Sermon on the Mount, the Blessing of the Little Children, the Crucifixion, the Resurrection, the Good Shepherd, and Come Unto Me. The windows were cartooned and painted by Nina Haynes, Laws' chief artist, and the windows were designed by Vincent Ketchie. On the outside, Laws installed 1/4" Lucite acrylic as the protective covering.
