Stained Glass Windows at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in McHenry, IL

     In 2015, Laws Stained Glass Studios installed (14) opalescent glass windows at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in McHenry, IL.  Each window (size 45" wide x 78" high) contains a 18" x 26" hand-stained medallion with a scene from the "Life of Christ" series and a memorial plate at the bottom.  

     The windows are installed into the existing openings.  Laws removed the existing frames from the brick openings and installed new dark bronze aluminum frames.  On the inside, Laws set the new opalescent glass windows, and on the outside, new 1" Insulated Glass Units were installed as the protective covering.
