Stained Glass Windows at New Bethel Independent Church in Forest City, NC

     In 2015, Laws Stained Glass Studios provided (17) opalescent glass windows for New Bethel Independent Church in Forest City, NC.  The six sanctuary windows (size 35" wide x 113" high with a pointed top) contained a 12" round Biblical scene and a memorial plate.  The one opalescent glass transom (size 32" wide x 27" high) did not have artwork.  The eight front windows (size 34" wide x 62" high) each contained a 12" round scene along with a memorial plate.  The two side windows (size 35" wide x 88" high) both contained a 12" round scene and a memorial plate as well.
     Laws installed the opalescent glass windows into the existing wood frame.  Laws provided new inside stops and painted the outside wood frame.  Laws installed 1/4" Lucite acrylic on the exterior as the protective covering.  The Lucite is caulked and  floated in place with two rows of 1/2" x 1/2" white aluminum stop.  Many of the front windows had rotten sills.  Laws replaced these wooden sills and made them look new.
     In 2016, Laws Stained Glass Studios returned to install an interior transom and some panes of opalescent glass.
