Stained Glass Windows at Cherokee Chapel Baptist Church in Chadbourn, NC

In 2013, Laws Stained Glass Studios provided (14) opalescent glass windows for Cherokee Baptist Church in Chadbourn, NC.  The seven sanctuary windows (size 37" wide x 79" high) contained a 12" round biblical scene from the life of Christ and a memorial plate.  One window (size 66"wide  x 50" high) and five windows (size 32" wide x 56" high) each contained a 12" biblical scene and a name plate like the sanctuary windows.  The large window (72" wide x 126" high) depicted a hand-stained, floating figure of Christ "Come Unto Me".  The sanctuary windows had a curved, pointed top.  Laws had to make a template of the openings for a good fit.
Laws Stained Glass removed the existing wood frames and provided new white aluminum frames.  All of the leaded windows were installed into the new frames on the inside.  On the exterior, 1/4" Lucite acrylic was installed as the protective covering.

This is a view of the sanctuary with the windows.
